When my family and I were in WDW this year in late May we got my girls birthday buttons because both of there birthdays are in June (end of May is close enough) and I noticed others wearing First Time buttons and even a button for those who were on their honeymoons. My question is do they have Anniversary buttons for those of use celebrating wedding anniversaries? My husband and I will be there in Sept celebrating our Sept wedding anniversary and I wanted to wear a button instead of buy the bride and groom ears; I'd like to reserve those who were just married or celebrating a big anniversary, we're just hitting our 5th one.

The pins/buttons are the same as the wedding ones. They have a bride Minnie and a groom Mickey. We got them last year for our anniversary (and will again this year when we are there again celebrating our anniversary). You get alot of congrats.....the only funny thing we got is a few people kept asking to see my ring thinking we were honeymooners!!! :) :cutie:

Yes! They have "Happy Anniversary" buttons that you can pick up at the City Hall, in the MK for example. (And I'm sure you can get them in the other parks...Guest Services type areas) Also, if you're staying on property, and you've let them know that you'll be celebrating your anniversary during your stay, they'll usually have them for you at check in.

Swhjess - Thanks so much. I did tell the CM know we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and both of our 30th birthdays (all in the month of Sept) and she said that she would make a note of that. When I made our ADR's I even had them note that we were there celebrating our anniversaries (birth and wedding). I'm not expecting anything but well wishes. Hey we've already got the best gift ever and that's just being able to share our Disney time together as a couple.

Goofy'slady - I felt the same way on our Honeymoon last year! I was just expecting some friendly "congrats", however, we got free dessert at multiple restaurants (Le Cellier, Brown Derby, and Casey's Corner) Also, people (CMs and other guests alike) offered to stop and take our picture for us very frequently! I was just happy to be there with DH...Disney and other guests made it even more magical :cloud9:

Enjoy your trip!!

WOW!!! Dh and I will also be there is Sept, celebrating our......

5th anniversary as well !!!!

When in Sept? And did you get married there as well??

We'll be there in Sept as well and celebrating our 10th. I can't wait. I never thought of celebrating our ann. seeing our DD birthday is at this time as well so we usually go all out for her. This year we have a nice dinner at Coral Reef planned. DH has always wanted to try it.

Happy Ann. To ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going the last week in August and celecbrating our 19th...I am getting the bride & groom ears and having them put "19 years together" on it. I know it is for those just married, but I really wanted to do something special. I have also been teasing my two DD that their ears will say "the product of..." All I got was "not funny Mom"!!!

We will be dining at LeCellar that evening and have preferred viewing for illuminations.

Congrats to everyone celebrating their anniversaries!!!!

Add me to the list of August Anniversary trips! We are celebrating our 10th and staying at the the GF for the first time since our honeymoon!!

We also have the Coral Reef diver set up and arranged for an anniversary basket to be sent to the room from Memories by Betsy (which included 2 of the previous mentioned Happy Anniversary buttons among other little gifts)

Happy Anniversary!!

2 WEEKS from now we will be eating our "anniversary" dinner at Kona's!!!
We've ordered the special cake and I arranged for a special disney cooler with snacks for my dh to be in our room.

I know they have special anniversary pins. We spent our actual anniversary night at DL and it was fun. CMs and guests congratulated us and one CM had Mickey and Minnie sing to us. It was so cute. Our original trip was scheduled around our anniversary but my dh had work deadlines extended so I had to work on new dates at the last minute. I'm just happy that we could get reservations at the Poly and our ADRs changed.

Have a wonderful trip!!

I'll add to the thread... We are going to be celebrating our 6th Anniversary with a Mommy and Daddy trip! We will be there for 4 glorious nights without any strollers, car seats, 5 o'clock wake up calls by my son, etc.... I will miss him tons, but a break is needed:goodvibes and a celebration called for! Narcoosies and a perfect view of Wishes awaits....

DH mentioned we were celebrating our Anniversary when he made our hotel reservation at the Beach Club. They had the pins waiting for us when we checked in. Also, on our Anniversary we were left a nice present in our room from Mickey and Minnie (a signed photo that was personalized). That was a nice treat after being at the parks all day! Congratulations and have fun!:goodvibes

I didn't even think about that - I don't think I can get DH to wear the ears, but I'm definitely going to get the bride ears for myself and put 22 on it - thanks so much for such a cute suggestion!! I haven't made arrangements yet for a special dinner, we haven't been able to come to the same agreement for a special place for dinner - I want to do Cape May @ Boardwalk & DH isn't sure where he wants to eat!!

Happy Anniversary Everyone!!! :woohoo:
