We are travelling with our 2 boys and 2 of their friends to celebrate their graduations from grade 8. Does anyone have any ideas on how to celebrate.

Can I get a graduation cake at a restaurant? Do they have graduation buttons like they do for birthdays?

We celebrated our ds' graduation from high school. We got him a "I'm celebrating" pin and they wrote Graduation on it. He wore it all day and most people congratulated him on it.

As for a special cake we ordered a "celebration" cake. All the restaurants should have them. You can either get vanilla or chocolate. It's about 6" round and it's very tasty. It will definetly be big enough for the 6 of you to eat. It costs $22. We got ours from the Prime Time Cafe and the server had the restaurant sing "Happy Graduation to you" to the tune of Happy Birthday.

Also we bought ds some graduation ears. There are 2 different styles. And we bought him a 2010 pin to remind him.

Some of the florists will create baskets for you, but our son was happy with what he got. And those things can get very expensive especially if you are ordering for more than 1.
