I want to do something really special for DS 5th bday 12/26 I figure it must be hard for a kid who has to share their bday with a big holiday's aftermath (people are still Christmas happy the day after!) so I want to do In room celebration decorating and something else
I went on the Disney florist site and while the In room celebration looks nice it would not appeal much to my son since he's not big on the Disney characters

so my question is what else can they do?? Any pictures or ideas would be helpful!!

What about something with a Pirates theme? Or no characters at all, I know that the Disney florist will work with you so you get what you want. What about a bunch of colorful balloons and some candy?

Hi! We celebrated our son's 5th birthday in December of 2007. We found a lady named Jane with a local FL company called Gifts of a Lifetime. She arranged a scavenger hunt in the Magic Kingdom with clues to find his birthday gift, a Buzz Lightyear laser gun. He loved Buzz at the time. The clues started at the wishing well outside of Cinderella's castle and ended outside of the Buzz Lightyear ride. The look on his face was priceless. She was very nice and easy to work with. She is also soo creative. The clues began with a story that Sid, the toy destroying kid from the movie Toy Story, was out to steal my son's birthday present and he had to follow the clues very quickly to find his toy before Sid did. I'm not sure if this is something that you would be interested or not. It was a bit on the pricey side, $250.00 I think. Also, I shipped the gift to her ahead of time. A wonderful memory for our family!
