Welcome back Nichole! I was thinking about you guys all week while we had the torrential downpours here. Sam and I were in Magic Kingdom on Monday and were drenched as I totally forgot about ponchos!

It was so nice to finally meet you and your family! It felt like I already knew you guys. Sam had an awesome time with Kaylee and wants to keep in touch. They exchanged email addresses but Sam can't remember one of the letters - "m" or "n". I'll have to get it from you!

Oh man! We ate at Coral Reef around 3:00 on Sunday and then went over to Downtown Disney in the evening. Is that when you were there? I even showed Sam where you guys were staying as we passed there and she wondered if maybe Kaylee would be at DTD! Too funny!

I can't believe it's over already either. We would have considered extending it a couple days but mom stresses out watching the dogs. Mind you she insisted on watching them.

I'm just like you right now. I don't want to do anything and have no energy either. Disney depression I guess. If the trip were a couple days longer or it didn't rain 85% of the trip I would feel better. The good part is even Tom wasn't ready to come home yet.

Thanks, glad you made it back safe too. Too funny about Josie . Wish we would have had more time together too. Unfortunately we didn't make it MK Saturday since we decided to get settled in and then swim. It was nice to meet you and your girls . This is the first trip I have met lots of Dis families, very fun. I'll be over to your TR soon. Are you sad to be home as we are?

The day before Departure and Departure Morning...

This will be a boring uneventful update without pics. I didn’t think to take any in the airport , car ride or even ME. Wish I did though.

This was a long crazy day for us.. Tommy had to work until 2:30, Kaylee had school, and Thomas had his preschool program at 6 PM. Both kids got to take off a Mickey head from the countdown calendar since we wouldn't be home in the morning. I had to finish packing. Tom took the dogs to mom's house for me in the morning so that saved me some time . I was very busy and didn't have time to check in on DIS or FB before we left. Thank you all for your happy trip wishes

It started to thunderstorming and downpouring just as we were leaving for Preschool. Even and umbrella was going to help at all. Little did I know I would be dealing with this kind of weather for 5 days of our trip. All I could think about was getting away to the beautiful sunny Florida and Disney
Thomas' preschool program was much longer than I thought it would be and I was getting antsy and ready to go . We did have a 3 hour ride to the hotel in Nashville. I have a few pictures from the preschool program. I do have a small vent though .

Notice how 3 kids (him included) in his class are not wearing cap & gown? Well his teacher decided to do things different than the other preschool class. She said since they were coming back next that they will not be wearing cap & gown and didn't get to sing one of the songs that they practiced since February . This annoyed me since the other preschool teacher had the whole class wearing cap and gown/ sing all the songs regardless of whether or not they were starting Kindergarten or coming back for another year. How rude to exclude 3 of the kids in her class, what an idiot. Thomas of course doesn't know I feel this way. It was hard decision to keep him back in Pre K another year. He just has some growing up to do even though academemically he is right on target. I almost skipped the program and headed to Nashville early . but enough about that.





We ran home after to load the bags and change into comfy clothes. then we were on our way in the rain . After 5 minutes we had to turn around because Tom forgot his cell phone.

We arrived at our hotel in Nashville around 10:30 and went right to sleep. Well the boys fell right asleep but Kaylee and I were too excited, so it took a while for us. We woke up at 6am got showered, had a quick breakfast at the hotel and we on our way to Nashville Airport. It was only a 5 minute ride and Tommy dropped off us with our 5 bags (Only 2 were big though) and we checked in for our flight. Then we went inside to wait for Tom.

On the way we saw Leanne (leamom2princesses ) and her two adorable girls. So we sat and chatted with them for a few minutes. I had picked up some Disney pez candy the day before for my kids and made sure to get 2 extra for her girls. Just a little something to keep them busy for a few minutes on the flight. All the kids were really quiet though as it was still early in the morning. Us mom’s of course were nervous about the flight and excited for the trip. Then Tom showed and it was time for us to make our way through security. Which is always comical with 2 kids who think they know what they are doing. I saw Starbucks on the way to the gate so Tom stopped to get one for me so I could wake up a bit.

It was nice to have A boarding passes and we even got the bulkhead seats which have lots of room. Our flight was uneventful and we landed around 11:20. It was a beautiful sunny day in Orlando.
