Celebrating 9 days with my 4 kids(7,6,4,2)May 2009, I know I'm late starting this TR

Congratulations!!! Wow, 5 kids. You guys DEFINITELY need to buy into DVC :thumbsup2:rotfl:

P.S. Loved the update, too.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you! What great news. May it be a happy, comfortable, and uneventful pregnancy!

How do I comment on the TR after that though! LOL

Wow - great news!!!! Congratulations!! Wishing you a great pregnancy. I hope that you are feeling good. I guess that means that having 4 is not too hard (???)...(coming from someone who currently has 3 :).

Thanks for the comment about the family. Not sure how my girls ended up with lighter hair. We thought for sure that we would have really dark haired children. My husband and I both have 1 parent from South America so I guess that's why we all tan easily!

Love your comment about DDs 80s hair. I totally had hair like that in the 80s. So funny!

Wow look what happens when I go away for awhile!

I clicked on the last page of your TR so I could work my way back to catch up on everything that I missed and what do I see? People congratulating you on your 5TH. Girl I don't know how you do it. I only have 2 and find it exhausting sometimes, and here you go making having 5 look so chic!

Congratulations! Your kids are so cute I can totally see why you want more!

Now I'm off to catch up on what's been happening on your TR while I have been gone.

Hello...I have been reading your trip report on and off all day today on my day off! You have such a beautiful family and congrats on another coming! WooHoo!!!! I know you asked for pics of each family but I have no idea how to upload pics.

Wow, Congratulations!!! You are braver than I! LOL That is fantastic news!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Congrats! Baby #5? You are brave!!!!!! The again - you may having four look like a piece of cake!

Thanks, I am either brave or crazy! I think once you have four it is just utter chaos anyways. Why not add more chaos to the mix.

I loved the update. But WOW! Congrats!!!!!!!!! :dance3:

Thanks!!

Wow, congrats on #5!!!!!:goodvibes Great update

Thanks!! We are excited!

Oh my goodness! Congratulations!

Thank you for the well wishes. I am glad you are still here. I was afraid I might have been offensive with my sarcasticness about the cake boss. I actually do know a couple of other people who don't like the show.

congrats!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks!

Wow what an update, congratulations :banana::banana::banana:

Thanks for the kind words!!

:cool1:Congratulations, you are a brave woman.

Loved the update, the kids look like the're having a blast.

Thanks! This is the bravest that I will get, because this is the final one.

wow! Great news! :banana::banana:

Thanks!

Congrats on your announcement

I’m loving your trip report – I can’t wait until we go back and reading here helps me to curb my desires.

BTE, we also met the same Mulan when we went in August 2008.

Welcome to the disboards. That Mulan must be the most popular one. I see her in a lot of TR's. She was super sweet!

Thanks!!

Congratulations!!! Wow, 5 kids. You guys DEFINITELY need to buy into DVC :thumbsup2:rotfl:

P.S. Loved the update, too.

:lmao: Definitely need the DVC!! Maybe now I can talk my DH into it.

Congratulations! I am so excited for you! What great news. May it be a happy, comfortable, and uneventful pregnancy!

How do I comment on the TR after that though! LOL

Thanks, My pregnancies have always been pretty easy. The only complication I ever had was with my second, and he was only breached. That's not a big deal though. I will say that I hope I don't have to do a csection ever again. Thanks for the kind words!!

Your trip is getting so close! Is it still a surprise?

Wow - great news!!!! Congratulations!! Wishing you a great pregnancy. I hope that you are feeling good. I guess that means that having 4 is not too hard (???)...(coming from someone who currently has 3 :).

Love your comment about DDs 80s hair. I totally had hair like that in the 80s. So funny!

I was wanting a girl so bad that the fourth was not too bad for me. I never cried over my sleepless nights like I did with the boys. It definitely was a little more chaotic, but it was already chaotic with three. The older two learned to be a lot more independant, which is a good thing, because I couldn't constantly get everything for them. They are a lot more helpful now than needy. :thumbsup2

YAY!! I am so glad you are back!! I can not wait until you update your TR. Kids are exhausting no matter how many you have. I will admit that the older two help me out a lot so that helps. They love to do the dishes, take out the trash, and mop the floors. They try to vacuum on occasion, but of course I always have to go back over the carpets. Now, I will just have to teach them to do their own laundry before the next one gets here.:scared1: There is no way I will be able to keep up with all the laundry with five.

Hello...I have been reading your trip report on and off all day today on my day off! You have such a beautiful family and congrats on another coming! WooHoo!!!! I know you asked for pics of each family but I have no idea how to upload pics.

I upload pictures to photobucket. Each picture will give you a bunch of links for sharing pics. You just choose the link that starts with an IMG and ends with IMG. You copy and paste this link into your TR. I hope this helps. It is also free. You don't have to pay for a photobucket account.

Thanks for reading along!!

Wow, Congratulations! have a happy and Healthy 9 months!

Thank you so much. You are so kind!

Wow, Congratulations!!! You are braver than I! LOL That is fantastic news!!!

I don't know that I am braver, but thanks! We are excited!

Yes - our trip is still a surprise although I partially caved. Madeline thinks I am going on a (work) trip to Minneapolis April 20 - 28. We have friends there and I told her if she gets all her school work done in advance, then she can come with me. We are going to Minneapolis after all :rolleyes1 we just aren't going to stay there:thumbsup2. So I haven't really lied - taking care of children is work right?

Well I finally paid the balance and bought the tickets to discovery cove.

Somehow we managed to do that give-a-day promotion without her knowing. I have pictures, but I haven't downloaded them yet. When I get them, I'll put them up on the PTR.

Now I am just trying to get all the odds and ends done - rain ponchos, garden grocer, clothes. My little girl who stopped growing in first grade (other than slowly up) now is growing very fast - 3 shoe sizes since the beginning of the school year, 2 pants sizes! Fortunately, even though they are based in Minneapolis, Target doesn't follow the seasons. It is about 20 degrees outside, but they are selling shorts, sundresses, and swimsuits!:thumbsup2

I have been thinking and thinking about how we are going to tell her. :woohoo: I don't know but that might not be the highlight of the whole trip!

Thank you for the well wishes. I am glad you are still here. I was afraid I might have been offensive with my sarcasticness about the cake boss. I actually do know a couple of other people who don't like the show.

Of course I'm still here! I love your TR! I'm look every day for a new update. This is the best way to count down to our vacation.:goodvibes

Well, thanks everyone for all the well wishes!! That definitely got some response. I am still kind of in shock that I am pregnant, because we weren't trying. We are excited though because we were talking about having a fifth, and this just made the decision final. But Alas, I am glad I still have you all with me. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't even finish this.

So on with the show. Now when we left Imagination Station, or pavilion, or whatever it is called, we headed over to the seas with Nemo. On the way, we stopped at Soarin to get some FP's for the boys to go later in the day. We had dinner reservations at the Garden Grill, so I figured they could ride it then. We made it to the Nemo ride at about 10:00, and there was about a 10 minute wait.

These are my friends, don't they look so happy to see me?
campingandDisney2009798.jpg

campingandDisney2009799.jpg

After our ride we came out and thought we would do that obligatory picture in Bruce the shark's mouth that you see everybody do. Well, there was a line of about 15 people waiting to get their picture in it. I am not kidding. None of the character lines that we saw the whole trip had a line like this. Except for Captain Hook, but that was because we had line cutters. Anyway, we decided that we would just take our picture somewhere else.

This worked fine for us.
campingandDisney2009800.jpg

The boys then had to use the bathroom so the Princess(DD2) and I watched the underwater cow, and the dolphins. I can't remember what those underwater cow's are called right now.

MANITEE! I remembered!
campingandDisney2009803.jpg

campingandDisney2009802.jpg

these dolphins sure were playful, and those boys sure did take a long time because we were out here for awhile.

Here they look like they are going out on a date.
campingandDisney2009806.jpg

Then they started attacking each other and spinning around. They sure did make a lot of bubbles.
campingandDisney2009805.jpg

Aren't they beautiful. Best Friends.
campingandDisney2009807.jpg

I know a lot of people love Turtle talk with crush, but my kids are not crazy about it. Last year when we went they kept asking when we could leave, so we decided not to do it this year. We will probably give it another go on our next trip, whenever that may be. So off we went toward Test Track.

campingandDisney2009808.jpg

When we got there the wait was only about 15 minutes so we decided to go ahead and ride it and then parent swap it. It was only 10:30, and it was already in the 90's. It was boiling hot. So I took the younger two over to the fairy playground again, while DH rode TT with the older two. We only stayed at the playground for about 10 minutes before we decide to just go wait in the exit area of TT. AIR CONDITIONING!!

Here are some pics of all the fairies.

I only had two pics on the playground because we didn't stay there long.

campingandDisney2009814.jpg

We headed into the air conditioning where the kids did a little bit of begging and pouting.

campingandDisney2009816.jpg

Then they did a little bit of test driving.

I dread the day when she is big enough to really be driving.
campingandDisney2009817.jpg

campingandDisney2009818.jpg

Finally, DH came out with the kids and we swapped. It actually only ended up taking him 16 minutes from the time he got in line until the time he came out. At least, that is according to my camera. Now it's time for me to go on a ride!!

campingandDisney2009819.jpg

They didn't have the ride pictures up when we got off, so I didn't get to scan it into my photopass card. DH never even bothered to scan his, such a man. So, after the ride we grabbed FP's to ride it again on our way out.

The view on the way to World Showcase.

Here is where the day get's interesting. I think this was the highlight of the whole trip. Are you ready for it? Here goes. I had originally planned on eating at Sunshine Seasons over in the land and working our way CC around the WS. Well, DH is a big hotdog conniseur. I mean big. He could eat hotdogs every day and never get sick of them. This must be where my kids get it from. Anyway, he decides to wait until this moment of sheer hungerdom and tell me that he was really wanting to eat at the CS in Germany because he was sure that Germany would have great hotdogs/sausages. Now, I have never eaten at sunshine season's and was really looking forward to it, but I was also wanting my DH to continue to want to vacation at WDW. So what do I do? I cave. I give in to DH and tell him in an ever so kind way that I would love to go to Germany and have sausages for lunch! Remember, I am not crazy about hot dogs or sausages. We start our long walk to Germany, and get there about 11:15. We did not see a single person in the WS as we walked around. I guess because it doesn't open until 11:00. Anyway, we get to Germany and the quick service place is called sommerfest. We go up to order and all they offer is bratwurst with sauerkraut or frankfurter with sauerkraut. They also had some soft pretzels and some yummy looking desserts. DH gets the bratwurst, and so do the kids. I order a pretzel and we all get desserts.

Here is the sweet, sweet, girl who took our order.

campingandDisney2009821.jpg

Now, I don't know why I didn't get any pictures of the bratwurst, but I didn't. Anyway, they were green! I knew as soon as I saw them that my kids were not going to eat them. So I offer up my pretzel instead. I guess I should have taken them back, but I am a nonconfrontational kind of person. So the kids eat my pretzel, and we throw out their sausages. Then DH admits that he can't even eat his sausage, it was really gross. So we throw out his as well. At least the desserts were good, and those I do have pictures of.

Here is Lego(DS6) with the pretzel. Dun, Dun, Dun

and some cake

campingandDisney2009824.jpg

At least the desserts were good. I really do wish that I had taken a picture of the sausages so you could see how green they were. Now we get up to go, and DH says to me that from now on I am in charge of where we eat. Do you hear it? Listen, here it comes. Hear it yet? LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! The Angels singing again. I may have had to suffer through a horrible meal, but I now have complete food control. Next time he makes a suggestion that I don't agree with, I will just bring this up! So that is how a disaster became my highlight. I still smile just thinking about that moment. Now we were off to explore Germany while we were there.

campingandDisney2009827.jpg

My kids loved the trains.

Then my kids decided they wanted to squish and eat the Epcot ball. There may be a more formal name for it, but I can't think straight right now.

Can't wait to see the pics in your PTR!! I am so excited for you! I also can't wait to see your pictures from when you go to Discovery Cove. I have heard good things about it.

Your daughter did go through a major growth spirt. My kids are still wearing the same size they wore last year. I think my oldest has been the same size for 2 years now. Maybe they will have a growth spirt soon. I am going to start making them drink those ensure drinks or something.

Fun update! Oh the power over dining!

Yeah - I wasn't prepared for the huge slow-down in growth. I always buy a little ahead (yes I'm one of those people) - after size 6 I bought size 7 - I didn't realize that 6x was the size between 6 and 7 - I thought it was the kid version of plus size. Well - I ended up holding onto those size 7 clothes from 2007 - 2009! She wore them briefly this winter, but now need size 8! Oh well - they are in perfect shape to save for her little sisters.

I think I'll spring for the photo package at DC even though I am a little apprehensive about how I'll look in a wet suit. It has been a "chunky" winter for me. (too much DIS-ing popcorn::, not enough treadmill) I really need to put that on my to do list or I won't have the stamina!

I've been reading your TR for the last few days, and finally caught up!

First, congratulations on your 5th child! From reading your report, I can see that 5 kiddos will be no problem for you!

We were there around the same time as you last year (May 4th to the 13th), and we stayed at POFQ. We were probably squeezed on the same bus at some point! :sad2:

Here's a pic of me and DH from that trip:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a great announcement!! So happy for you and your family!!

Loving all the Epcot pictures, especially the gorgeous Flower and Garden pictures! The fairy topiaries are so cute, as was your DD standing by them!! Love the "Pacman" pics of your DS with Spaceship Earth and I think my stomach turned at the thought of green sausages... Also awesome that your DH and kiddos got through Test Track in only 16 minutes!! As my son Gabe would say, "Sweet"!! Looking forward to more!

I am glad I still have you all with me. If I didn't, I probably wouldn't even finish this.

You HAVE to finish it! You have so many great pictures. It makes me feel like I got to take the trip with you guys.

I think we all have "chunky" winters. I hate exercising in the winter because I am always to cold to put on my workout clothes. You look great in your pictures though. I don't think you are chunky.

You may have seen Mullet woman at some point too!! Maybe on the bus!! Your family is beautiful, and your girls are so adorable. They look just alike as well. I don't think I have ever seen two sisters look so much alike.

Thanks for the comments!

It took me a minute to realize what the "pacman" pictures were. Then I realized it was when they were pretending to eat spaceship earth. That is so funny!! Stay tuned I have a video of Goofy and DH drinking Beverly coming up soon.
