We're going to the happy place! We're going to the happy place! 
It was a warm and balmy December day when Disney announced the 4/3 deal. I was doing what any respectable person does on a Sunday morning or any morning in particular and avoiding the morning. Maybe if I wish really hard there will be no such things as mornings anymore but it's all for naught as my cats decide to engage in the fine art of knocking every possible thing over till I feed them.
DH got up and there was an ad for the 4/3 deal. I said nothing. I wanted him to think that this was his idea. The menfolk seem accept our demands when they think it's their idea. DH takes the bait and wants to see prices. I run the numbers. We could do a value but DH wants a gym. What he really wants is Saratoga Springs again but that's way out of the budget. I show him some pictures of CSR, he gives me the thumbs up and I book. We'll be going to CSR June 10-17. That gives me six months to plan. 
Now you know the how. The why? It's our five-year anniversary. Who are we?
Me- I'm one of the 9.6% of Floridians out of work. I was laid-off from my teaching position last year. I've been searching everyday but it's a little hard when the districts are on hiring freezes. I've been doing some free-lance work and have been squirreling my pennies away for the past year. We booked this trip on the condition that it was paid in cash by the due date. I almost didn't make it (stinking IRS) but I did.
DH- The gainfully employed one. Also known as the world's most supportive husband. Whenever I've been on interviews he gets me psyched. He tells me it's mine and when I don't get it says they're a bunch of idiots. Enjoys weight-lifting and gets paid to sing silly songs with children (music teacher). He tolerates my picture taking and has been known to swipe those Lime Green Mickey Heads from time to time.
Now we have dates. We are booked. Let the obsessive planning begin.
