Cedar Point Amusement Park, Ohio??

CP was a favorite of my husbands. He passed away in August but would love to rave on about this wonderful park if you love roller coasters. He could tell you the fastest, highest, biggest and best. Can you tell roller coasters are not my favorite. We camped twice, first time in a class c RV with our daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren. The second time we took our oldest grands back. We stayed on site and liked the campgrounds (lighthouse was great for RV's with a pad). You could go to bed to the sounds of the coasters. This did not bother us. We enjoyed the water park it's no Blizzard or Typhoon but an adequate water park. The CG was pricey but we liked the idea of walking in and out of the park at any time. We never stayed more than three nights as we had done everything by then.

Nothing can replace Disney World. They are just different. Believe what you read about CP being the best. Travel Channel rates it quite high for roller coasters.

Hope you get to go and have a great time. It has been in our families memory bank for years.

I only wish I didn't have to sell our RV so I would know that I could stay at F. Wilderness once again. Enjoy your opportunities to camp and travel it is the best thing we ever did with our kids and our grandkids. Seeing this country is wonderful there is so much to see. Have a great time.

It was actually towards the end of june. They were very gross!!! They did die very quickly but they were litterally falling out of the trees into your hair. Every time you came up out of the water, they were all over the surface. YUCK!!! The only place in the park that i saw them was stuck on the rides where you wouldnt likely see them. THey must clean them off.
