...that I could order/buy the provisional APs now and change them up for permanent APs in July so they'd then be valid until July 2013?

If (a very big if!) we went back this year it would have to be in the summer hols

Also, how long do the offers usually run for? Could the current one be pulled at any time?

You are and they can

You have 6 months to transform them into APs from the date of issue and the offer can be pulled at anytime in theory, in pratique it will no doubt run until mid/end March before the start of the new season
