Does Disney sell cd's that have park background music? I have the Official Park Album with the ride songs.
Thanks!

You have to make them at the theme parks...plus they cost a pretty penny..

try #disney-central on mIRC, you can get area music, ride audio, and so much more.

What do you mean you have to make them? Please clarify.

thanks. :earsboy:

download and install www.mirc.com - it's a free program
It's kind of difficult to figure it out if you've never worked with a DOS-based program, so if you want the easy "point-and-click" version, download Invision 2.0 from http://scriptheaven.net/downloadview-details-211-Invision.html <-- That is a patch to make it "point-and click"-able
you have to set it up and learn how to use it, but once you do, you'll be in heaven! (btw, it says it's a 30-day trial...I was using mine for going on 4 years...so....don't believe it)
#disney-central is on the server IRCHighway - if you need any other help, just ask.

They have kiosks throughout the park where you can mix-and-match different music from different parks. I don't recall if they had different music at different machines, but I think they did. And I'm pretty sure it was $20 to make a full-length CD of the songs you pick and choose.

ALSO you have the option of buying The Musical History of Disneyland - it was a limited edition 6-CD Collection for the 50th Anniversary, but I believe there are still some available. Of course, those are for Disneyland and not WDW, but a lot of it is the same. (with the exception of a few rides and the Christmas Haunted Mansion: featuring Nightmare Before Christmas)

You can get soundtrack versions of shows...like the fireworks and Fantasmic. I got them on websites AFTER I got home, and got them a tad cheaper. Back in the day, I downloaded a WHOLE BUNCH of background music. I'm so glad I did because now it's so hard and expensive to find. :rolleyes1

I'm almost certain these don't exist anymore. They were great, but unfortunately, they supposedly broke down a lot.

oh darn... i didn't even notice if they were there last time I went. ::sigh:: Well, there's always IRC or ebay <8)

Can you please email me at civileng68@earthlink.net or tell me somehow of how to use the IRC? I have the program downloaded and put in the room name and it pulled up a chat window, but nobody was there. From there, how do I find the files to download?

Also, yeah I was asking because I go quite often and haven't seen those kiosks, but WOW would that be cool!!!!!!

Can you help me with IRC? I know it takes practice but I've tried, to no avail.

I'll definitely help - but I can't email you til tomorrow - unfortunately I only have access to my computer at work. If you can wait a day, I'll walk you through it all. :)

actually I have an explanation already saved on my computer, nvm, I'll send it to you right now.

got it! Thanks so much! You are a lifesaver!

The kiosks called WDW Forever have been gone for several years. The discs were $20 each, but not for a full-length cd, just any 10 titles of your choice.

Also, the music on the DLR CD set is terrific, but almost all of the cuts are different in some way than what you would actually hear at WDW(although some of the differences are subtle).

You might check some of the stations on live365.com The Disney stations have some very interesting material not otherwise available on commercail cds. :earsboy:

Sounds cool -- but too complicated. I think I will just have to make more trips to Disney to get my background fix. That, and Live 365! :cool1:

No prob. Soon you'll have 8 days worth of area music and background music on your computer...believe me. :)

The best are the hour long BGMs for the different theme park areas. (entrance music, etc.)

JRawk, can I have it too? When I went to open the program it said my shortcut had been removed but I just finished downloading it.

:confused3

Do you think I could get the how to too!? Much appreciated! :wave2:
