There is a shuttle service and it runs every half an hour taking you to all the Euro Disney hotels, the Santa Fe and than the Cheyanne Hotel I think are the first two followed by the New York.

It's very prompt but be warned, despite you perhaps being in the queue first, certain un-named nationalities totally ignore this and will quickly try to get on the coach ahead of you.

Lucy - how many of you will there be, and how much luggage will you have? Train is quick, but quite a hassle if you have a lot of luggage.

VEA stops at the Newport Bay first, then Sequoia Lodge, then Santa Fe, at certain time the preferred hotels are next (I think!), then the Cheyenne, Hotel New York, bus station and the Disneyland Hotel.

Have a look at this thread for all the options from CDG to DLP. :)

hi

we shouldnt have that much luggage. we tend to travel light for a family of 4. probably one suitcase for 6 days.

thanks for the advice everyone. not long now and really excited.

Hi Lucy,

You flying from Teesside then?? Us too in October, bmi baby. As there'll be 16 of us going we've booked taxi's with RS transport - they were recommended on these boards. Its costing 400 euros return for two 8 seaters, which is slightly cheaper than if we were all paying on the shuttle buses, plus we don't have to worry about times or seats.

Hope you have a great time,

Lynn

WOW! More locals (I know my location says swindon but I'm just pretending to be a southerner for now) I'm flying from Teeside (or Durham Tees Valley for its new name - though have you noticed that all the road signs still say teeside!) in December and my concern is the return flight. Its at 10:05 for me and the VEA doesn't run early enough and the train doesn't leave me enough comfort time. So it looks like a taxi.
So check your return time Lucy as it may dictate your transport for you (as I didn't think about it til my sister pointed it out)

I would go for the VEA shuttle as opposed to the train for several reasons:
a) it's not as far
b) you may have to wait a long time for the train - we had to wait for 2 hours!!! Never again!

hi

yes teesside for us. and i got those £0.00 flights with bmi baby. im pretty sure my return flight is 11am so the shuttlebus thingy will be early enough. when dh and i went to paris alone for 3 days we used the train for traveling around which we found easy enough. i think this time we will use the bus. it just seems easier especially if we have absolutley loads of stuff on the way home.

thanks everyone for their advice on this and also for the links.

We took the TGV from CDG to Marne de Valle. It was pretty quick and easy. After we got to Marne de Valle we took the bus outside the station to our resort. :3dglasses

argh. your all changing my mind!

ill leave the decision to dh i think since im the indecisive one. like i said we did find the trains really good and easy to use when we went to paris before.

Hi lucy love,

How long you going for, we arrive in 19days time :cool1:

First time for us, and we are debating which means of transport too.

We are travelling Durham Tees Valley with BMI baby also. £5.99, and £15.99 back, great price, there was the zero flights but could get that time off, :confused3

Got money, passports at the ready. yippee

Yes, the train itself is really quick (and very smooth!), but it also depends on what time you get in and what time the train departs - so you could end up waiting quite at while a the station. Just something to bear in mind.

hi princess jackson.

were going on the 24th on the 7.25am flight and returning on the 29th on the 11am flight. im really looking forward to it as its our first time to dlp too. are you staying at disneyland?

thanks bexx ill get dh to check our arrival/departure times and we will look at the train and bus times.

dh works away and getting to work for him usually consists of flying from teesside or newcastle to heathrow then to either paris, amsterdam or lisbon then out to africa once a month and he says that the worst airport he has ever been to is cdg (and his work mates agree)! when i went to cdg last time all i remember was men with guns as an airport is just an airport to me!

i just hope it goes smoothly. nothing worse than feeling stressed on holiday.

thanks again

lucy

We must be bringing the plane out for you, as we leave 29th on the 725flight, yes staying at the Sequoia Lodge for 4 nights.
