When I’m vaccinated? I feel like that question answers itself.
Wasn't someone just discussing on here how it isn't yet known if the virus can be shed after vaccination?

Late September there was an article written about this in my country (Netherlands). They estimated that 25.000 people have health issues for several months. At that moment, about 120.000 people had tested positive. So about 20%.
Reported issues are diverse: tiredness, muscle or headaches, no energy, not being able to smell/taste, shortness of breath.

If everyone can get vaccinated what’s the issue? If someone doesn’t want to protect themselves that’s on them.
Yes, but it's going to take some time for everyone who wants to be vaccinated to get vaccinated - during that time we must still wear masks until it is determined whether or not those who've been vaccinated can still shed virus, or if so, perhaps 'til all who want to have been able to get vaccinated. That is my understanding.
What do you think is safer- walking around maskless but vaccinated or unvaccinated with a mask?
It sounds like you're saying, once I'm safe the heck with everyone else. I sincerely hope I'm misinterpreting your post, especially since you've already shared that you'll be one of the first to be vaccinated. What do you think is safer- walking around maskless but vaccinated or unvaccinated with a mask?

That might not be true. The first time he tested positive, he retested negative after, so since he didn’t have symptoms, it was thought to be a false positive. So not a guaranteed case of reinfection. There's still a serious question as to how effective the antibodies are and how much exposure may result in reinfection. For instance, football coach Nick Saban just got reinfected and this time he's got symptoms when his previous infection was asymptomatic.

Yes, true, but I have yet to see this as a significant number. Just certain reported instances here and there. There have been others verified as having a second infection.
Certainly anything that could reduce the rate of transmission would be awesome. But combining a vaccine with extensive mask use would probably be the best we could hope for.

Many are weary of the mandates. Does anyone believe folks will mask up after they receive the vaccination? There will be legal challenges if they try to enforce it.Like I said, I’ll wear one if obligated.
