Those borders are so infuriating. It makes it really really hard to crop to specific sizes. I wish there were a way to remove them. I wish DCL would listen to feedback to be able to remove them (I know it's a third party company, but it's part of their whole experience so you'd think they would pass that along). Maybe we all need to create a flood of feedback and they will listen.
Does Sam's only have standard photo sizes? The problem with the borders is that the photo sizes Shutters uses are odd (8X10 and 6X8). You'd probably have to find a photo printing location that will work with the sizes you have or just have everything printed on the larger size and trim off the white edges.I bought the CD, does anyone know where I can take the pictures to be printed ? I went to SAMs and the border was cut off. When I asked about the border they resized the picture by making it smaller to include the border but added a white space around the outside of picture

I mean the paper they print the photos on - those are probably the standard 8.5X11 or 5X7 sizes. And printing an 6X8 photo on a 5X7 paper means that some of it gets cut off. They can resize the photo to fit, but it won't fit the full page as the ratios aren't the same.I am not sure the photo size but they went though each picture and edited them to include the border. I wonder if anyone had experience printing them via online before I wasted my money -

Thank you for the information !I get my shutters photos printed through Snapfish and I've never had a problem with the photos or borders being cut off.

Did you have to order the photos in any special sizes?
At any time up through the last full day onboard. You can't do it on debarkation morning.I pre-purchased the photo CD for my cruise but after reading the descriptions of the graphic borders and challenges in cropping or trimming, I decided to go with the less expensive photo book (where I will be more likely to enjoy the Disney theming) and then just take my own photos. How and when do I go to Shutters to cancel my CD for a refund?
Thanks
I believe a majority do, possibly all. BUT, they are not all real borders, as such. Sometimes it's just a graphic in the corner with the ship name and cruise dates.i'm a little confused. Does every single photo have some border or graphics?
How much is the CD out of interest?
