CCV and Instacart

We are staying at CCV Nov 23-Nov 27. We would like try Instacart for grocery delivery.
1. Do you need to be present for Instacart delivery or will bell service take the order (similar to Garden Grocer)?
2. Do you need to be present if alcohol is in the order or will the bell service take the order (similar to Garden Grocer)?
3. Any other pointers for Instacart?

Not unless your order includes alcohol.

Yes, you will need to meet your delivery driver in the lobby if you purchase alcohol. They will need to scan your ID and Bell Services will not hold orders with alcohol.

3. Any other pointers for Instacart?

Most stores mark up items on Instacart versus what you would pay in store, including Publix, so just be prepared for that. It’s still worth it for the convenience imo.

If you use Kroger delivery there’s no tip, $10 delivery fee and everything costs the same as in store. Bell services will hold it (if no alcohol). And there are percentage off coupons in the app

Everyone has their preferences. Ours is W+, for the reason @kylenne mentioned: Instacart marks up their prices pretty considerably. W+ does not. W+ does have a membership fee, though. Since we pay their membership fee anyways, it's just an added benefit that W+ happens to deliver to both our house and WDW resorts pretty reliably. My only point is that it's maybe worth exploring whether Instacart is the best option -- while it's probably the most well-known, it's certainly not the only game in town. And maybe you already did do your research and have already landed on Instacart -- nothing wrong in that case!

Our's is also Walmart+. If your order contains alcohol, you will have to be present. We try to get deliveries first thing in AM so the night shift has plenty of time to get it in.
