We paid $12 for rental of two floats (big blue ones). We didn't get the bikes or the snorkel gear. When we tried to snorkel with our own (mask & breathing tube) we were told we could not, that we had to rent them. That was straight from the Lifeguards mouth.
Also, when we were lounging on the floats (face down in the water) inching up closer to the rope which separates the snorkeling lagoon from the bathing lagoon, we were told to move away from the rope. We moved back a couple of feet and the lifeguard told us, farther, so we did, but my husband was embarrassed so we just gave up altogether.
The only thing, besides the floats, that we paid for on the island was the wonderful drinks (Tropical Depression and Strawberry Daquiri's) and the souveniers, but unless you're purchasing stamps for the postcards, leave your cash on board. I brought a few dollars with me for the stamps. We mailed out postcards to our family and one to ourselves and it took a while, but it's still up on my fridge.
Everyone in our large group agreed, it was well worth the money and we're waiting for the 2007 schedule to come out so we can book another one, but this time a 7 night cruise on the Magic!
Have Fun
