I found something that might be great for a long car ride (like to WDW!)

In the mid-to-late 70s, CBS radio produced a fantastic show with great story lines called the 'CBS Radio Mystery Theater'. The shows are either mysteries or very mild macabre and are suitable for those between 6 and 90 years old. Think 'Tower of Terror' pre-ride scenery.

A bunch of them are available for a free download at:

These make for great listening on a long car ride. They are like an audiobook except these are 45 minute long shows, great for those who don't want to invest several hours following an audiobook plot. There are a couple dozen of them at the link. Download them to an iPod and play them in the car.

I tried a couple of them out on a recent 5 hour drive. Made the trip go by really quickly.

The quality is somewhat poor (like a casette tape recording), but the shows are very well produced and have big name actors doing the radio voices.

Enjoy!
