CBS pulls the plug on Two and a Half Men...

no charlie no show

Charlie's character (not just the actor) has been skeeving me for awhile. I'd love to see what Jon Cryer and Angus could do with the show, Berta too, on their own.

I guess the website source knows their picture address is up there and someone might then be reposted it to other sites, and instead, inserted another picture, the one you saw :(, which gets posted instead.

Ooh, I hate when sites do that! (then again, I guess they don't like it when people link directly to them like that...but still...)

Its really scary when Denise Richards is the only sane person in a group..... Just saying

:rotfl:

change pics and all. never saw it and never tried to find out what it was. interesting thought a show without charlie.

i don't think cbs has the stones to try it.

no one would want to put there neck on the line.

Never cared for the show. I'm surprised it lasted this long.

As for his rant, I think he was done with the show and this was his way of ending it.

that just might be it. what better way to end the show. if they do decide to bring it back without him ..they could leave a loop hole if he ever gets his head together. (and i hope he does).

It's a good lesson for all of us: Deep linking is not only dangerous, but it is a violation of the terms of service for many websites. Many don't care, and even those that do care don't do anything about it, but for websites that pay their rent based on the value to advertisers who place advertisements on the pages that readers are supposed to use to view the content provided by those websites, deep linking is nothing less than taking money out of their pockets, and they take action to punish those of us who deliberately or casually engage in the practice of deep linking. As always, post with caution.

The only people I feel sorry for in this case are the working crew on this show as they are the ones who need the money to live. The actors and actresses on the show have more than enough to get by on while the show is off air.

Well, that generalization is a little too imprecise for comfort. The leads and featured actors, surely, are not going to be most hurt by this shut-down, but actors that don't get credits up-front may get commensurately low wages for their work on the show. By the same token, a lot of the working crew are very well-paid. It's not a front-of-camera versus behind-the-camera issue... it's really just a matter of how much people are paid, absolutely.

They might want to bring in someone else. It worked for M*A*S*H and a few other shows. They could also bring in new writers. No offense meant but to me the show is weak.

It was a lot funnier a few years ago when Jake was little and Allan was a fresher character. Rose's 'husband' is a pretty stupid schtick as well.
