CBR to Yacht Club Galley?

I'm hoping that someone will know this one. Is it possible to get to the Yacht Club Galley from the CBR before Epcot opens? I'm to meet friends there for breakfast at 7:45, but Epcot doesn't open untill 9:00 that day. Is it walkable? Any suggestions? TIA!

Probably the easiest way is to take a cab. You could bus to MGM and walk from there, I don't think the boats run until 8:00.

Disney runs early morning buses for people getting to the various breakfasts throughout WDW. I would imagine that includes the character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club. I suggest you get to your resort bus stop around 7am and look for one of these buses. If one goes to the BC you can get off there, walk through the lobby to the lake side, and turn right for a short walk to the Yacht Club.
If you can't find a bus going that way you will still have plenty of time to catch a taxi. They are normally waiting for passengers, but if one is not there a Cast Member will get one for you right away. I don't know how far CBR is from the YC but I will guess $15?. Hopefully someone will know better.

It does, but 2 weeks ago while waiting on line for the Albatross cruise we were talking to someone who was staying at the Poly. He was told to take the Character Breakfast Bus to the BC for the cruise. He said 2 busses showed up and neither one knew what he was talking about and said there was no such thing, he ended up taking a cab.

The morning breakfast busses are identified by park areas. So for the OP, look for a bus identified for MGM. Tell the driver you need to go to the Beach Club and he will drop you off there.

Update:

I called the front desk with this question while there, and the cm said that I should be able to ask the bus driver for the next bus to MGM to take me there. It didn't sound promising with the tone in his voice, though. When I got to the bus stand, a bus came along within 5 minutes and I asked the driver that question. He sounded very surprisied and said that he couldn't do it, but that he would take me to MGM where I cloud catch a bus to the Yacht Club. I had about 45 minutes untill the ressie, so I went for it. Also, I was the only one on the bus. A few minutes later, the driver had a change of heart and radioed to see if he could take me directly to the Yacht Club. They said yes, so off we went. You should have seen the looks on the faces of the poeple at the Yacht Club bus stop when they saw a bus marked Carribean Beach on it pull up!
