CBR - someone must have heard something...

We are leaving in 11 days and are DYING to hear about the new food court, restaurant, any other changes - really just about anything. Make it up if you have to - I'm so desperate for news, I'll believe anything!

I heard you can now walk to MK and EPCOT from CBR, and they painted the food court.

We love to walk to the parks, but to walk to the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT must be one heck of a walk! EPCOT maybe? But unless they moved the Magic Kingdom since we were there 3 weeks ago, Carribean Beach Resort is still miles away!

I would assume that Jade 1 meant you can now walk to MGM and Epcot. We will be there January 3rd. First time at a Moderate resort. We have always done The Boardwalk or Contemporary. This will be a new adventure for us.

I heard the monorail now goes through the new food court. It will take you to ANY park and DTD!

C'mon we leave in around 36 hours for 3 nights at CBR and then 3 nights at AKL. There must be someone out there who knows something. Maybe it didn't reopen and WDW is going to move me to all 6 nights at AKL or send me to GF or WL or someplace similar. Maybe for my inconvience they will feed us while were at WDW and give me an Illuminations Cruise on NYE( I suppose I would accept a Cruise on the Breathless).

I heard that they had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new food court. I haven't heard from anyone with first hand knowledge. I will be there Jan. 7.

This will be our first stay at CBR ever and we are soooo excited This is our annual girls-only trip and there will be 8 of us!

We'll be there 1/19-1/26 so any info on the resort will be very welcome!

We are leaving to the CBR today! Unfortunately our flight doesn't leave until this evening, so we won't get to see it 'til tommorow.
Has anyone heard about the walkways?
