Our family group is going in early September. We are considering changing from Pop Century to CBR . We will have a total of 3 rooms. We have preferred rooms 60's building at Pop Century. We are interested in room location choices for convenience to food court and buses at CBR as well as condition of rooms, are they in need of renovation and updating? Also does the A/C maintain a consistent temp and is is too noisy? Thanks for any replies. ::MickeyMo

We love CBR! We have stayed in Martinique, Building 25, which is now a preferred location. Now that my daughters are older, we like to stay in Jamaica, Building 45 or 46, this is a very short walk across a bridge to the main pool and the food court. The rooms are a larger than at a value resort with double sinks and refrigerators in the room. The rooms have recently been renovated, and they are very nice. AC has always worked great for us. The food court has great variety, and the bus service has always been fantastic. The themeing of the resort is beautiful. It has a tropical feel with sandy beaches and hammocks for lounging. The quiet pools in each of the villages is really nice and peaceful. My daughters won't stay anywhere else. We are going to be at CBR June 22nd thru June 30th for the fourth time. Check out Safetymom's information on CBR. She can help you with CBR information. Have a great trip! :sunny:

The rooms at CBR were refurbished and reopened at the end of 2002. Martinique and Trinidad North are the closest villages to the food court and main pool. They are preferred locations costing $15 extra nightly.

Many folks like Jamaica. It is a short walk across the lake from the food court.

You might want to read the FAQ threads listed below on CBR. I also have a map and pictures on my website listed below.
