CBR questions

What are the best rooms to request at CBR? Have all the rooms been refurbished? Any other information about the current condition of the resort would be helpful. Thanks.

We stayed at CBR in 1998, so I can't say much about the CURRENT condition, but I can say that we loved the Barbados village, becuase of its location on the bus route (1st). Also, if you weren't already planning to, buy a refillable mug, becuase believe me, you'll use it more than you think!!

The rooms closest to the food court are in the "preferred" category and cost extra. We stayed in Barbados 15 last year and enjoyed it, about a 5 min walk to the food court. Our room was very nice. The mug is a good idea, practically everyone was walking around with one.

Our room was fine in 2002. No complaints. The location depends on what you want to be near. We were in Trinidad North. A bit of a walk to the food court however we had a corner parking lot view room - which doesn't sound nice to most but it was perfect for us. The bus stop was right out our room and we could see our car from our room. We did use our car a few times when we dined at other resorts. So, for us room #3308 was great. We actually turned down a room offer in Martinique for this one.

It is a great resort. Martinique and Trinidad North and now preferred locations.

Also a great thing to do at night is watch the fireworks from Illuminations at Epcot from the beach at Martinique.
