CBR Prefered room

Anyone know which buildings contain the prefered rooms at CBR? Stayed at Contemporary this year but I can't afford it twice.

BTW; we are looking at CR for our next trip, but over the last few years, we just cannot seem to find the value in the deluxe resorts anymore. I got a feeling we may do a split stay, unfortunately, DW and I are not a big fan of splits, but it might be something we need to look at again

Just be aware that "preferred rooms" at CBR are near Old Port Royale for dining and the pool. They are NOT nearest the Skyliner if that's what you had in mind.

And to add to what @lanejudy said, there are quite a few Standard Rooms in Jamaica and Aruba that are closer to the Main Pool and Food Court than some Preferred Rooms and are MUCH closer to the Skyliner Station than all Preferred Rooms. So the best of both worlds.
