We are taking a large family trip in October 2020. We will have 5 adults, 2 teenagers, a 3 year old and an infant.

The original plan was to book a suite and a standard room at AoA but the Big Blue Pool will be closed and that’s a dealbreaker for me. We’re now looking at 2 standard rooms at CBR, POR or POFQ.

The kids pool and pull down bed that our toddler could sleep on are pulls for CBR but with it being so spread out and hearing bad things about the buses I worry. We will want to come back mid day for naps. We would also need a 1st floor room due to there being no elevators and my dad being unable to do stairs.

POR also has rooms with 2 queens and a pull down bed but the pools aren’t as good for kids. POFQ doesn’t have the 5th bed but is more tightly laid out and also has a nice kid area at the pools.

Where would you go?

I haven't stayed at PQFQ yet and am thinking about it myself. CBR is my favourite resort. I like the layout (you can request specific buildings), the room size is good and that little pull down bed is pretty comfortable. I tend to only take the bus to Magic kingdom and haven't personally had issues with it. In 2020 the gondolas will be running which will make for a fun way to get to at least a couple of the parks. Oh yes, the main pool there is very nice.

If you stay at POR you are allowed to go over and use the pool area at POFQ. Also you have the boat to Disney Springs. A good source of info for the Port Orleans resorts is www.portorleans.org

That's a lot of people for two moderate rooms. Surely doable but two bathrooms and 314 sqft rooms with 7 folks that aren't little kids plus an infant and another child sounds like a lot IMO.

CBR has the largest rooms of the Moderates at 344 sq. ft.
