CBR pool closed?

I just read in another thread that the CBR pool is being renovated.
Is it currently closed?

The reason I ask is that the CBR is one of the only options for us for next month (August). I don't want to stay there if the pool is closed.

yes, the main pool is closed, but there are still other pools at CBR.

I think we'll skip it if the main themed pool is closed.
No wonder it's the only resort with rooms available.

I heard that they are making the main pool into a Pirate theme (ship, water cannons, etc.) Anyone else know? I am staying there in December, but the CM I talked to making my res. was sly about details!

I heard it was a pirate theme too. If you go to the resort picture page, someone posted some updated pictures of the area.

Yes, it is closed much to our dismay. We will be there for 2 days in August before moving to YC CL so we will have to improvise.

The main pool is closed. There are 5 smaller pools that are open.

Can anyone tell me what the smaller pools are like at CBR?
Would our 6 yr old son enjoy them?

Thisis the Jamaica one, and I heard that they put a temporary slide there for now. There should be pics in the CBR FAQ.

When I was 6, I loved any pool.

They had small slides in Jamaica and Barbados quiet pools. If you go to the first post of the CBR FAQ you can see the progress of the new pool complex at CBR. Link is below.
