CBR pirate rooms

Has anyone stayed in one of these rooms recently? Are they in need of refurbishment as much as the others?

We stayed in Sept one night before our package started at POR in a Royal room. The room was fun with the pirate ship bed and the furniture was clever. For a little boy I think it would be a dream. The decor was fun but lots of brown! The room was in the farthest room from "civilization", we were actually looking at the POP Century buildings, so if they are all located in that area, that would be an issue for me. Comparing them to the Royal rooms decor and location, I think they are way overpriced. But if you are a Pirate & CBR fan, then the room was fine as far as "condition."

Not a recent experience but we stayed in pirate rooms in 2010 and 2011 and in 2012 did a preferred king room at CBR. The pirate rooms were great, the king was nice...it was older looking than the pirate rooms but still nice. If I am not mistaken the pirate rooms were done in 2009 so they are newer. We love CBR.
