CBR pics.

Mickeystoontown --> Love the Vera Bradley bag ;)

I want to stay in one of the "pirate" rooms next time we go!

The Vera Bradley hipster worked well in the parks. Except on the days when I had to take the ponchos in. Then, it was a tight fit so I took a drawstring backpack.

I bought the small backpack for our last trip to Disney and it worked better then the hipster...I was able to carry at least 3 bottles of water plus wallet, ponchos, etc....

PS I love your CBR pix and cant wait for hubby to get home to show him and try to get him the tiniest bit excited about our trip....in March....of 2012:lmao:

(He just doesnt understand....:sad2:)

I have seen pix of the CBR pirate rooms but can someone give me their personal account of the rooms? The pix look great and I think DH and kiddos will love the beds!!

Great pics! Thanks for sharing - getting me all excited about being there in 2 weeks!!!

Was surprised to see kids playing by the lake though - I didn't think they would allow that?

Okay... maybe I am just "missing something' but how do you post pictures on thie board? I can't seem to figure it out? :confused3

You need to upload your pictures to a site like www.photobucket.com. It is free of charge unless you decide to upgrade to one of their other programs. (I'm cheap and have the free upload.) Once you've uploaded your pictures, you will see a My Albums tab on the photobucket site. Click that and you'll see all of your pictures. Underneath each picture there are either three or four links. You need to copy the bottom link under the picture you want to post on the boards. Then, come back to this thread (or any that you want to post a picture to) and click "paste". Next, hit Submit Reply and your picture should appear on the next page.

I am sooooo not a computer savy and I am able to post pictures using the photobucket site.

It's a MIRACLE..... I figured it out using photobucket. Flickr does not have the same set up! THANKS

I'm not sure the kid is supposed to be in the water. My kids did play right down by it with their buckets in the sand and maybe even snuck a little bit of water to build their sandcastle, but figured that was about it.

These photos are so great! Thank you for posting them! We are going to be staying at CBR in September and these boards are great! :goodvibes

Does anyone know if all kids are allowed to go on the pirate themed play area, or is it just for the little ones?

My kids were 7 & 9 last time we stayed there and they enjoyed the children's pirate pool! pirate:

Does anyone have any newer pictures of the pirate rooms? I went back through and noticed that it looks like they may have changed the beds from when they first opened them up for booking.

We just got back from 8 nights at CBR yesterday! I'll be back with pictures once I get them uploaded, but I know there was a height limit, not an age limit, posted on the pirate area. The only time I ever saw an issue was when a girl in her early teens (13 or so, maybe) who was almost as tall as I was got stopped by a lifeguard and told she couldn't climb on the ship. They let her stay and get splashed by the bucket, just wouldn't let her back on where the slides, etc. were. Hope this helps!

Looking at staying at this hotel or POFQ. Are the preferred rooms worth it with a 1 and 9 year old? How close are they to the food court and pool area?

Preferred rooms are in Martinique 24, 25, 26 and Trinidad North 31, 32, 33. Right on either side of Old Port Royale (food court, main pool, children's pool, gift shops, concierge desk). http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/cbrmap.htm
