CBR or POR??

O'k I know I ask before but I'm really thinking we should make a change. Here's a few details;
Booked mid April & nights at the CBR. Here is what I think will be important to our family;
-pools! my two children love pools.
-theme, not important.
-a room with easy acess to dining, pools and transportation.

I love the idea of spending most of a day in the park, come home for a swim and then getting on the boat and going to Downtown for dinner. I've read that the pool at POR is much better than CBR??? I'm concerns about how big CBR is and being out in Never-Never Land would really be a bummer. It's not that we are lazy just don't want to be disappointed and figure will be walking all day in the parks. This is our first trip.

POR and POFQ are the only moderates with the boat to DTD.
We like the pool at POR better, and my daughters especially like the slide more.

Maybe you should call and see if POR is available for your dates - just to make sure that you even have that option...

I don't know how old your kids are but CBR is a huge resort. Depending on what "island" you get it might be a little walk to the main pool and Old Port Royale (dining).

A preferred room now costs more money but is closer to the food court. However, some of those rooms are a little walk too. We love CBR but many prefer POR/POFQ to CBR with kids.

The only area that I can think of at CBR that is in never never land is Trinidad South. All of the other areas aren't that far of a walk to the food court and main pool.

You will have a great time no matter what resort you pick.
