As noted in previous Posts, we're staying at WL 19-25 June. Will move to a lesser accomodation for nights of 25-26 June, for some down time (just relaxing by the pool. Little or no park activity).

Choices are.....
--- Pop Century ($220 after taxes & before AAA Discount)
--- Carribean Beach Resort ($367 after tax & before AAA Discount)

Which should we do ?? Only plans would be pool sitting, maybe using one last PLUS from our MYW tix, and/or adding an additional day to the tix, and strolling a park in the evening.

All thoughts on choice and booking methods are appreciated. :)

a question... why not do your non-park-time at the better resort w/the most amenities (better pool/slide; watercraft; etc) and stay at the lower category resort when you will not be there so much? (i.e. take your break mid-week at WL and then switch over to PC to finish up the parks)

that being said... we prefered pop century to cbr significantly... we found cbr to be too spread out, no elevators in the buildings, did not care for the foodcourt layout, etc... so i would vote for pc!

Thanks gigi,
That's a good suggestion. We'll need to rewicker our itinerary, but a day relaxingat the WL pool, and a walk to FW for a marshmellow roast, cold be a totally relaxing day.

One vote Pop !

I would pick CBR- it is more laid back and quiet. Each village has their own quiet pool and then the big pool w/the hot tub. CBR is beautifully landscaped- its really nice taking a walk across the bridge to the island in the middle of the lake.

I would, also, pick CBR. It has beautiful tropical themeing and nice, peaceful walkways. If the main pool is to busy, you can go to a quiet pool in your village. We like the food court, and there is also a sit down restaurant at CBR too. Good luck in your decision.

If you want to relax and wind down, I would suggest CBR. You can relax at any of the many pools, or lay back in a hammock on one of the beaches (see my picture under my name). The caribbean feel of CBR puts you in a relaxed mood. :)

I agree with the above poster who suggested taking the day off while your staying at WL - you might as well enjoy all the amentities of a deluxe while your there. If you do change your plans I would definately hit the parks while your staying at PC or CBR but I would choose the cheaper of the two, PC, if I was spending mroe time at the parks. However, if you can't change your plans, then I would choose to stay at CBR as the resort is beautiful and as mentioned above has multiple quiet pools (if main pool gets a bit noisy) and has an romantic/relaxing walk on the grounds not to mention bike/boat rental for additional fun.
