Looking at staying at CBR or CSR in March or April with 10 year old daughter and 2 year old son. My daughter and I have been to Disney numerous times and have stayed twice at CBR, the last time about 4 years ago. Which resort would you stay at? Will also have hubby who has not been to Disney since he was a kid. I know Disney is going to be very different but I’d like to do a trip before my daughter starts middle school this summer.

I like both resorts but I think CBR has a bit of an edge with the Skyliner. It's a game changer for access to Hollywood Studios and Epcot. If you could swing it, see if you could get a 5th sleeper room so your older daughter would have her own bed and your little one would have the trundle.

I think that the rooms are better thought out at CSR and the overall environment feels newer. I can see the attraction in CBR if you are visiting without your own vehicle transportation. If you do have your own car and are not relying on Disney I would give the nod to CSR.

I’d go with CBR just for the Skyliner advantage. That’s if you’re doing both EP and HS.

I love everything about Disney and have loved every resort I've stayed in from Pop to the Grand Floridian. With one exception....I absolutely did not like CSR at all. I know it's very popular but I really disliked it. I didn't like the feel, the theme, had several bad experiences with service and cast members there, and I didn't like the rooms. I know it sounds negative but I have truly loved all other resorts that I've tried. I'm really glad others enjoy it but it just wasn't for me at all.

Love both resorts and you can't go wrong with either. But in the current environment, with bus capacity being limited, I would choose CBR for the Skyliner advantage. Bus depots in the morning are crowded as people line up early to try and get on the first bus of the day. We only had to contend with that for MK and AK at CBR, and frankly it would suck having to deal with it for all 4 parks. We ended up using Uber for MK and AK, but with a 2 year old, I'm not sure if you'd consider rideshare as an option.
