CBR Old Port review, please! =)

Hi everyone we are so looking forward to our WDW vacation in two months from now!! I am just curious about the food court @ Caribbean Beach Resort.can you give us some reviews or pics to check out? Are there any special things we should plan on getting? Thanks everyone!

We were there in Nov 2010 for 10 days and had a few breakfasts at the CBR food court and 1 dinner....not impressed with any meal we had there. The best thing was the scrambled eggs.

We stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort for 7 days in april 2010. We ate several times at the food court and always had a great meal there...hamburgers,pizza. but the best value is the salmon. you get a big piece of salmon and 2 sides( I took rice and mashed potatoes). This is a far bigger meal with the salmon that i got at the Coral Reef and was much better tasting. This was a counter service meal and could easily pass for a dinner meal. hope this helps.

Wow, that sounds like a good deal! Maybe we'll try that dinner. That kinda meal could hit the spot after a long day. Pretty much the kind of options I was looking for. Anything other than pizza,ect. Real meals we can have, whenever.

Stopped by for a lunch one day and had a nice (but not stellar) cheesesteak sandwich. Still like the one at the Plaza better. It was fine, though, and I'd probably order it again. The CHIPS were FANTASTIC! They had some jerk spices on them.

Kids got the sandpail lunches. They liked it very well. I thought the nuggets and fries got awfully soggy because of the steam inside the plastic. However, the pail was fun to play with.

We had breakfast there on the day we were leaving in June.. I had mickey waffles and sausage, which were good. DSS had french toast which must have been good b/c he inhaled it. DH had the breakfast platter, his one complaint was the biscuit was hard and dry..

if you have breakfast, please try the breakfast quesidillas at the cbr food court. those were so good we woke up earlier and paid out of pocket just to have them every am before we went to the parks.

for meals i remember having the Rotisserie Chicken dinner and the Roasted Turkey dinner. they were delicious. i liked cbr food court better than the one port orleans riverside. so did everyone else in my party. i am sorry we didnt take pictures .

have fun on your upcoming trip! you will love carribean beach.

We ate breakfast twice, pizza once, and pasta snack.

Breakfast- we had bounty platters, waffles, and omelets. Everything was okay, nothing great but not bad. I did get a whole plate of scrambled eggs as a snack . Only problem was the food was only lukewarm. everytime.

Pizza- okay for disney Pizza not exactly delivery quality. Kids were happy.

Pasta- baby was hungry late one night so we split a kids meal of alfredo pasta and it was good and filled him up.

Ugh....luke warm? that stinks.
I have to admit, I think the disney delivery pizza is nasty.
I'd try pasta if we r in the mood. Kinda hard to mess that up.
