CBR Martinique???

We stayed in Martinique at CBR in Narch and loved being so close to Centertown Market and the pool. Being the first bus stop was also a HUGE plus!!!!! With the Skyliner opening up I’m torn on where to stay at CBR. We Have a preferred room booked and will be at each park two days. Going during spring break so bus crowds a consideration!

thoughts on which building is best?

i think the hours skyliner is running there is no buses to hollywood studios or epcot .
I stayed in same area im april and it was the best location I thought . now it could be one of the worse

Martinique is still a great spot. You are right next to riviera and can walk over there and hop on the skyliner there as opposed to walking towards Jamaica. I would stay in Martinique 100%

I have the same question. What about for going to Hollywood Studios? It looks like maybe Jamaica is closest for taking the Skyliner? We have some serious Star Wars fans in our house but if DHS is the only convenient trip,it may not be worth it. Thanks so much!!

Martinique is still a great spot. You are right next to riviera and can walk over there and hop on the skyliner there as opposed to walking towards Jamaica. I would stay in Martinique 100%

I believe there are still buses running to those parks, just significantly fewer.

Now approx. 1 hour between buses from a Skyliner Resort (AoA/POP/CBR/Riviera) to Epcot and DHS.

Not too bad. 5 minutes walking normal. Martinique is still the place to be because riviera goes straight to Epcot and you can take it to the CBR skyliner and go right to DHs. We have stayed there twice since the skyliner and love it. Going in May but as of right now no availability there so we are staying at Coronado.

May is hot but not as humid we felt. We have been in August 3 years in a row too and that’s tough. At nite in May is beautiful though.

We were just at CBR over MLK weekend. We were in Barbados 33, perfect location. The Barbados bus stop was next to our building. It was a short walk to the main skyliner hub. And a short walk to the main building / food / pool. The Joffry's coffee at the Skyliner Hub opened at 7:30. When we arrived our room wasn't ready. I actually turned down a ready room in Martinique, as I felt Barbados was a better location. The Skyliner for HS and EPCOT was perfect. We did Uber to HS for early morning Rise of the Resistance boarding groups, but that is a story for a different discussion board.

I am having the same problem trying to decide what area to request on our upcoming trip. I always thought I would request Martinique in the past. I’m not sure now with the skyliner as an option.
