We are planning to be at WDW in the spring of 06. We are thinking of staying at a moderate. I like to sit after a long day and have a beer or 2 sometimes even away from the kids. My question is... Is there a lounge at CBR?

Thank you

There is an outside bar by the main pool. Banana Cabana is quite popular in the evenings.

Welcome to the DIS.

Like Safety mom said it has an outdoor bar by the main pool and food court. It was the busiest WDW resort bar Ive ever seen, we were there last may. Most resort bars seem pretty slow and subdued but it was seriously hoppin. Had a Sox-Yankees game on that I was trying to follow while hanging at the pool one night with my son.

The only mod with an indoor lounge is POR and you would love it.

It's child friendly too. They have an entertainer there named Bob Jackson and he does an audience participation sing along type act. He is really not to be missed.

There is a bar to sit at plus on the side tables and chairs, and further back in the room comfy love seats and cozy chairs to sit in with tables. You can also get some snacks to munch on.
It's a great way to relax.

Actually, that is incorrect. CSR has an indoor lounge. It was pretty popular every night with all the conventionEars there. But they give you yummy chips and salsa. :)
I had a drink there that I just loved. I need to get the recipe - It was called The Green Hornet!

Anyway, back to CBR, my boyfriend and I really loved the outdoor bar. My boyfriend missed it on our last trip. :( There are TV's there so you can watch a game or whatever else.

The green hornet.. Sounds interesting! Googled it... Sound anything like this???:

--------------------------------------------------------
The Green Hornet

1 part Blue Curacao
1 part Captain Morgan's spiced rum
pineapple juice

In a shaker add ice, pineapple juice, blue Curacao, and rum. Shake like crazy. Pour into a cocktail glass. I like to garnish with a slice of pineapple. You could also
blend all of the ingredients in a blender for a nice summer slushy.

Drink with CAUTION!!! When this drink is made right you can't taste the alcohol. The blue Curacao and pineapple juice makes it green and the rum will sting ya.

Enjoy!

Mmmmm...
That sounds like it. I remember the blue curacao. I will have to have my local bartender make this for me and see if it is how I remember. lol.

:)
