I totally agree with safetymom and eeyore.
While there's no "bad" or crowded time of day, the only obstacle you'll really encounter are large families walking abreast of each other.
The path around the lake, Barefoot Bay, is a 1.4 mile circuit. My biggest difficulty was the change in climate. I was there in May (2005), and here in New Jersey it was spring-like weather, plus I run on a boardwalk right on the beach, which almost always has a cooling sea breeze. But May in Central Florida was in the upper 80s with 150% humidity.
I beat the heat by starting my run at the main pool, where my family was camped out for a while. It was nice to end the run at the pool.
