CBR filthy?

I just read on another website that somebody who stayed at CBT as recent as April of this year, claimed that CBR was filthy. Namely the headboard, nightstand and dresser. Has anyone had an issue with cleanliness at this resort? I've stayed at the different categories of resorts and I've never felt any of the rooms are dirty.

We stayed there in August of 09 and I never noticed anything dirty or even filty about the rooms. I really liked it there. Maybe that reviewer was unlucky and got a room that wasn't cleaned well enough. It happens sometimes, no matter where you stay.

To be honest with you, the place just had a rehab. I wouldn't be worried about it. As in any hotel you stay in, if the room is not to your liking, you can always ask for it to be cleaned or to be moved.

You can get an off-room at any resort, like a pp said, if you are unhappy about the cleanliness of a room, you should address it with management/front desk in person.

Our experience with CBR was very clean and fresh~ rooms, villages, grounds, pools, etc.

We stayed at CBR last August and it was very clean - no problems. In fact, we just booked our trip there again for this August.

We stayed for 10 days in Nov 10 and it was immaculate! Super clean rooms, the Mousekeeper that we had was excellent and we have no complaints at all.

We've stayed at CBR 6 times now and have never experienced a filthy room or grounds. One time right after a hurricane came barreling through there were limbs and plants laying on the ground which made the grounds look unkept, but the CM's were out there right away cleaning everything up.

We had a 10 day stay at CBR in Dec. 2008 and it was great!! No issues with the room.

We didn't have a cleanliness issue with CBR when we stayed there. Our issue was with the layout of the resort and the bus issues.

No! I read same reviews before out stay, on 2007, before renos! I was a bit nervous, but our room was spotless, and our wonderful mousekeeper kept it so.

When we stayed there the room was very clean. This can happen anywhere. It is not acceptable if a room is dirty, I would just call mousekeeping if that were to happen and they will send someone right up.

Just returned from CBR...i wont say it was flithy.....but i wasnt clean either...we stayed in barbados...their were stains on the bed skirts... i would not stay there again.and a few other issues..and I can tell you this room was very dated and worn...they need a rehab bad!!

WE stayed there last year and it was clean for us! And I did check the headboard and other areas most people donot look since I work for a pest control company and check very close for bedbugs and such. I was surprised to not even find a dust bunny so you will probally be fine. I don't care if you stay at a no star or a 5 star hotel someone will alwasy complain or things can go wrong like not cleaned properly from time to time.

The whole resort was refurbed 2 years ago.

Ive stayed at CBR several times and i love it. Never had a problem with my rooms or mousekeeping.

No Disney resort is "filthy". Sure, there is wear and tear when rooms are occupied 365 days a year. If you don't like your particular room ask to be changed. But "filthy"? Just not so.

We stayed at the CBR last years. We had two rooms and never had any cleaniness issues. The rooms were cleaned very well each day. Our biggest problems were with the buses. It seemed like the CBR buses were always the last to come.

We've stayed at CBR 3 times, and will be there for a 4th time in August. We never had cleanliness issues.. we thought the whole resort was clean! Have a great time!

When we were there in May 2009 we thought the room was perfect. It wasn't dirty or in need of any repair. We loved our room. We were just at the WL in December and our room was much nicer at CBR than our WL room. I thought our WL room was in need of a rehab, but not too bad to the point that I'd ask for a room change.

We were there with a baseball team or i would have asked to be moved to another room...it wasn't flithy but i don't think it was up to disney standards. coffee pot also was dirty and need washed one the day we arrived..i have stayed at all monorail resorts..yatch and beach club and never had a problem....if i stayed at a moderate again i would try another...i was dissappointed in the rooms at CBR...the food court was great and the pool were fine
