Back from 4 nights at CBR, Aruba room. While the construction IS an eye sore, especially when viewed across the lake, I found the bus service to be better than ever and the food option to be BETTER (vastly so!) than when there were Shutters and food court. I'm a Hard Core Foodie and I found the food at the Spyglass Grill to be exceptional for counter service: one warning, with only one register <sigh> the service is slow. In several sections of the resort there are grab and go options within each section, inside a room. The Banana Cabana serves up drinks lakeside which my friends reported were quite tasty. I did not partake of the buffet, but at $21.99/person for supper it is a bargain by WDW standards. I didn't eat from the food truck as it was standard burgers, fries and chicken tenders (not my thing.)

I'm happy to try to answer any questions.

Thank you so much for your report. My family will be staying there towards the end of September into October. I am glad to hear that it isn’t as bad as I was expecting. :flower3:

Did you get offered any compensation for the construction? I have heard that some people got swtiched for free to another resort and some poeple got $75 a night
in vouchers
