Any of you frequent CBR goers know about how long it typically takes to bus to DTD or EPCOT? Also, how about POR? (We may want to go there for lunch one day for their pasta bar that everyone says is really good.)

We have a couple of ADRs in other hotels (GF, FW, SSR) and I was wondering the general travel time to get to these places. I do realize that sometimes we will have to go to DTD to get a different bus to go to another resort - but we have no clue how much time to allow.

THANKS!! :)

Disney's own recommendation is to allow 90 minutes to get from resort to resort using their transportation system, it often won't take that long but it could, it will never hurt to arrive a little early for your ADR which they also recommend.

The actual travel times aren't usually that long, it's the waiting for the buses or boats which can eat up the most time.

Getting from resort to parks is generally a bit faster because there are no transfers involved.

Your better bet is to transfer at a park closest to that resort. I go resort to resort quite often when I go; especially solo.

DTD are "dead-headers", they are dispatched as needed; they are buses that primarily go to the parks first.

DTD buses for transfers only work perfectly for someone like me who stays at POR. You can get right on the water taxi, which runs every ten minutes in the evening after 4 p.m.

One year I stayed at SSR and we took the DTD bus from BW to the stop. We waited longer for a bus to SSR there than it would have taken to walk.

Great info! Thanks.

I think since we are closer to Epcot, it would make sense to go there to transfer and get to another resort. We will definitely do that. Unless we're gonig to DTD of course.

For morning ADR's, it's best to transfer at the park nearest your destination resort. In the a.m., most buses leaving a park go to a nearby resort, to pick up guests going to 1 of the 4 parks.
