what is the swimming like at the CBR beaches? What is the water like? warm/cool? clear/murky? critters?

I always wondered why the pics of the beaches never showed anyone in the water. That helps our decision on a resort. I for one, don't want to sit on a beach if I can't go in the water to cool off.

You wouldn't want to swim in it anyway.Amoeba and bacteria are in the shallows, they are very often used for boats and also have been known to have gators( from time to time) and snakes in them

There is no swimming in any of the Disney lakes. We schedule at least two resort/down days and laze around in the CBR beaches in the hammocks or beach chairs. It's nice and relaxing.

You can still jump into the pool to cool off.

And there are plenty of them at the CBR. One in each resort village and the main pool.
