Even if it isnt... its a dead child. My heart goes out to the family of that child. I strongly believe it is. All the pieces fit with it. Casey said she was close to home. Anyone know if there are any other missing children in the area that it could be?

Cases just like this make it difficult for me to be against the death penalty...

cause I could pull the switch on this woman without a second thought.....

Same here. I seriously have to second guess my stance on the death penalty when something like this happens. I think that anyone who would abuse/hurt/kill a child deserves a very special form of punishment.

Personally I think she will suffer a lot in prison, and it's where she needs to be for the rest of her life.

Can / will the State's Attorney's office change their minds, especially in light of the discovery of the body (assuming it is Caylee)?

At this point I really thought they would never find her, so if it is Caylee, it's heartbreaking, but at least they can lay her to rest and hopefully prove who did this beyond a reasonable doubt so they get the punishment they deserve. (without a body, I really worried a child killer would walk free)

I know alot of people are against Cindy and George Anthony, but my heart breaks for them today. I just can't fathom such a loss.

I agree with others here about hoping it is Caylee..(as much we DO want her alive but that seems very slim) but at least George and Cindy can give her a proper burial.
Now i am thinking somehow, if it is indeed Caylee, how much you want to bet, the next big news will be that someone else killed her other than her mom?? Just wait.. Casey will point her fingers to someone else by the end of the day.

Oh that is so awful. Its got to be her, I mean how many missing children would end up so near the Anthony home.

Those poor grandparents. They really wanted to believe this little girl was alive both for the child's sake and then that would mean their daughter isn't a muderer.

Many have mentioned her having a proper burial and her family being able to mourn her, but who is there that missed this little girl or gave a crap about her? Her mother, her grandparents? These people who are most liable for her disappearance and demise? The nation will mourn this little girl, but certainly not those that should be.

That was because without a body it would be hard to meet the criteria to try it as death penalty case.

Since the trial hasn't started they can change the charges if new evidence meets the death penalty criteria.
