I followed this case on Nancy Grace for the longest time, but have since lost touch with it. I believe they said it would go to trial in October, but since I'm no where near Florida, so my local new channels don't air anything about it. Is it still discussed on Nancy Grace (I can't stand to watch her!) or anywhere else? Anyone know anything new or otherwise about it? It was such a sad case, I feel so badly for that beautiful little baby, I just want to know the outcome of everything.

Wow, I'm on there now. Those people are really intence!!! Some of the posts are from a year+ ago, but a lot of them are from today. I don't know have of what they are talking about / the people they are talking about. Like one friend that was watching the baby who stopped when she found out KC was lying about having a job, etc. Its just so sad. I don't think the grandparents murdered the child, but I think they knew their daughter was capiable of doing it, which is almost as bad. So sad

The trial has been pushed back to early 2010. One of Casey's high profiled lawyers is a professor and is working this year so they motioned to delay the trial.

I'm also on Websleuths - lots of good information but you have to dig through the threads to find the newer stuff. I like reading "scared monkeys" - they have one thread and talk about whatever is going on at the time.

Right now the defense is trying to get Casey's civil trial for stealing Amy's money to be set AFTER the murder trial but the prosecution wants to move forward and do it now. They keep having hearings with the Judge on this issue but nothing has been resolved yet.

Thats crazy! But I guess it doesn't matter - shes going to rot in jail for the rest of her life, so I guess who cares if most of it is before or after her conviction.

I know I've already given her a sentence before shes had a trial, but its truely how I feel. I have followed a lot of the information, and I truely believe she is guilty as sin. I'd really like to know what happens to the grandparents at trial too.

I kept up on this horrific story too through Nancy Grace. I hope Casey rots for what she did!

I still don't get her mother.....SHE DEFENDS HER ALOT OF THE TIME. That, imo, disses that poor grandbaby. How could she do that to that sweet, innocent little baby girl?

some of the dates are last year in the beginning of threads - they merge ALOT over there. There are some great sleuthers and lots of info on this case as well as many others and crimes in the news. Several other cases actually have family members posting on them as well. I love that web site!

Thank you for the link. I too had seemed to lose touch with the case a bit. Nice to see Casey isn't all smiley anymore while in court on the videos. Seems sitting being bars is finally starting to get to her. Good!
