Laying in bed, with one cat cuddled up next to me, one curled up on my chest and the youngest on my pillow, purring in my ear. Now that is happiness.

I've got two kids that are pre-teen, I don't need anyone else in the house with an attitude. I just need someone to look at me like they adore me, which every dog I've ever had does!

For the record, I like dogs too, but I LOVE cats!

Cats RULE:

You don't have to walk a cat.

Cats don't bark loudly.

A cat won't hump your leg.

They never made a Broadway musical about dogs.

Cats bathe themselves.

Cats will do funny stuff like cuddle in bathtubs, closets or cabinets!

Cats also take care of there buisness, dogs just leave it in the yard to step in and attract flies!
You can leave a cat home alone for a couple days with a big bowl of food and water. Can't do that with a dog.

Both!!

Our cat is sweet and cuddly, entertaining to watch and easy to care for. Much easier to care for than the dog. Cat's are like a work of art, graceful and beautiful.

Our dog is always ready to play, loves to be petted or brushed and adores every member of the family. She's also protective of our daughter and sleeps in front of the doorway to her room...pity the stranger who would DARE touch one hair on the head of "her" girl. Dog's make great companions and you can take them places, like the park or camping, that you can't do with cats.

They are really very different pets and each brings a different kind of love to our family. I highly recommend picking up one of each!
