Cath's trip report - Day 5 – Let’s shop!!!

Who’s Who

Me – Cath, 32
DH – Tony, 34
DS1 – Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 – Christopher, 3 years 11 months

We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6

Today DH and cousin’s DH and their sons are off to Tampa to watch a Major League Baseball game – leaving me and my cousin and my two DSs.
Also arriving today for 4 days are another cousin Helen and her DH – they live in California.

We have in the itinerary a trip to Florida Mall in the morning before they all leave for Tampa – and guess what – we actually stick to it!!

We get to Florida Mall around 9.30 after a hearty home-cooked breakfast of sausage, pancakes and scrambled eggs. There were sales everywhere – it was great. Up to 70% off some shops – including Yankee Candle Company!!!! The Dinsey Store had some great bargains too.

Nice mall – and a good range of shops I thought – but we didn’t have as much time as I’d have liked. They guys left for Tampa after lunch, and at 3pm our legs had had enough and we headed home.

We got back to the villa and cousin Helen and her DH had arrived in the villa.
For dinner we decided in Friendlys – and on the way back we stopped at Publix for a few things.

The kids had an early night, and we relaxed in the villa – me with a nice Californian red, waiting for them to get back from the baseball.

We discussed the next days plans – 4th July – more shopping with a trip to Belz….and tomorrow I would find out if I had passed my exams and got my degree!!!!
