Whos who
Me Cath, 32
DH Tony, 34
DS1 Anthony 4 years, 10 months
DS2 Christopher, 3 years 11 months
We shared a villa with the McCusker Family - Ann Marie, my cousin, Her DH Michael, and their kids John, Michael and Gerard, ages 11, 9 and 6
Today we have Breakfastosaurus booked for 8.10am, so Animal Kingdom it is!!
We leave at 7.10am and arrive at the parking lot gates in plenty time in fact the car park is not even open yet!!! I think it opens at 7.45 (?)
And when they did open I was amazed at the lengths some people go to get ahead in the queue of others!! There was some dangerous driving in that car park!!!
So we get to the gate, and give our name for the breakfast. After only a few minutes we are called to follow the CM to Restaurantosaurus.
We get our table in a corner. The CM asks if we are using our vouchers and juice and coffee are on the table and we are allowed to eat. Food was ok good selection, but the character interaction was very poor. I felt rushed and I feel that because we were using our vouchers the service wasnt what it should be (am I paranoid??).
We left just after 9 and headed straight for the safari. We saw loads of animals, and managed to save Big Red (surprise!!!!) again!! Kids enjoyed it too.
Next we headed to Kali River Rapids werent sure how the kids would cope with this, but we went on. Put the kids ponchos on them. The kids loved it and we were wet, but manageable ..kids begged us to go on again, so we did. This time I got the big splash. I was so wet!! The kids thought it was just brilliant and wanted to go on again, but NO WAY!!!
The four of us were soaked to the skin right down to my pants and after walking about for 30 minutes I didnt feel any drier. I was so uncomfortable so we decided to go home for dry clothes.
We left at 11.20 and went to the villa. We had a swim, and then went out for something to eat. We went to TGI Fridays at Crossroads our server was very nice, and the food was nice. Our intention was to go to MK, but we were really tired, so we went home!!!
