Now that there is no Catholic church services at Poli, does anybody have another way to get to Mary Queen of the Universe other than a cab?

I prefer just taking a town car from the airport, but if I have to pay for two round trips in the cab it may be about the same cost as renting.

Any help would be apreciated.

My parents attended mass there during the summer and the only transportation option open to them was a cab. They actually took a Disney bus to DTD and got a cab from there. I believe that it cost them about $10 each way. They did have a problem getting a cab back, so I would suggest that you arrange a pick-up time with the cab company for when mass is over.

Mears discontinued the shuttle due to a lack of demand.

We've taken a cab in the past from DTD and paid about $8-10 each way. We always made arrangements for a pick-up about an hour later - which usually meant we missed some of the Mass (since it very rarely begins on time). The reason for this was that although there is a pay phone in the area outside the church, it is not always operational. And the people who work in the store will not let you use their phone. A cell phone helps! :(

Happily, my brother is now a Catholic priest, so he says Mass for us at "home"!
:)
