Catherine & Jesse - PJ & TR: TR Day 2 - hair & make up trial, updated 11/5

thanks for posting the price of the mouse ears. I've been really curious about that. I was actually expecting them to be WAY more expensive so I'm definitely keeping them in my budget now. I may have mentioned this already but I love your dress! one of my fav maggie sottero dresses :goodvibes

Sounds good!! It's always nice when things come out to be cheaper than you expected!!

ITA! I was sitting down and everything, preparing for the worst. :rotfl:

Thanks for sharing your info! Decor is something I'm terribly frightened of. I don't have much room in the budget for anything so seeing some prices gives me ideas!

Glad it helped you out. I'm sure you will be able to find something that will fit your budget. :goodvibes

Thanks so much for posting your floral costs! I agree with the other girls that it gives us an idea for how much to budget there (I don't have much of a budget for that either).

It sounds like it's going to be gorgeous and we're looking to have our reception in the LSS in June '09!

You are going to love LSS - its a beautiful location!

glad you checked about the mouse ears good luck with everything:goodvibes

Thanks! :goodvibes

Yes, getting the mouse ears are the same price whether you get them through Disney floral or at the park. They are $9.95 each, but if you want to get them embroidered, Disney floral charges $8 per hat. That can really add up, unless you have the time to take them to MK and have them done there.

Ok so Rose sent me my floral BEO today, and honestly I was expecting it to be a lot more. During the planning session it seemed like I was constantly adding more and more things. I really thought it was going to be over $10,000. The floral BEO is at $5,237.88 right now and DF and I already cut almost $1,000 out. I'm still waiting on my other BEO from my WP, so depending on what that total is - we'll see what else we can cut.

If anyone has any specific questions, just let me know. I'll try to answer them for you.

Hey Catherine - I just got my floral BEO this weekend. It is $7671.09 - I'll be slicing and dicing just like you!

All your choices sound very nice though!

Do you happen to have a pic of the cylinder sets with the orchids in them? They sound really nice and I'm considering replacing my orchid arrangements with something similar to what you have.

I just read your entire PJ. Everything sounds great!! I love Maggie Sottero gpwns. I have been eyeing a few of them for my VR but haven't tried anything on yet.

Your menu sounds wonderful. I love food so that is going to be a big deal for me.

I can't wait to hear more about your plans.

Thank you so much for reading! I love Maggie gowns. I had a hard time chosing because they are all so pretty. I would definitely suggest going to try some ;)

Love your dress and tiara, your BM's dresses are pretty too. Your wedding will be beautiful. Gotta give kuddos to your fiance for surprising you like that for your proposal, give that man a pat on the back.

Holy Crap!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Did you buy Cinderella's Carriage instead of just renting it!! :lmao: I don't know what you're going to be cutting, but just from the price it sounds like your Wedding is going to be a huge event. I'm sorry you had to delete your PJ! I would have loved to hear all about it!! :guilty:

You're not kidding...I either need another cup of coffee or a bloody mary!

:lmao: I think I did buy the coach somehow!

Yeah there will be some definite cutting, but yes we are planning on having around 140 guests (hopefully less).

I'll post the BEO hopefully later today so everyone can see the drama!

LOL - no problem at all. If you'd like we can share this PJ. My wedding is right after yours anyway - it'll be the new Catherine/Jennifer PJ :lmao:

:scared1: :scared1: OMG Jennifer!!! That is crazy!!! I hope you were sitting down when you saw that number!! :rotfl:

I got my regular beo too and I have to say I was pretty happy with it. Including the floral - my total is $23,000. I'm only $3,000 over my minimum so I'm just planning on cutting out a few things here and there. I'm curious as to what you got though.

$3000 shouldnt be too bad to cut:rolleyes1 We cut about $5000 from ours with our 1st revision!

Sandy - I thought it wouldn't be too bad either, but then I'm noticing that I don't really want to let anything go. I think I will need to have DF look at it because I'm sure he can easily knock off the $3,000 in 10 seconds

I truely understand! I felt like that too! our biggest thing ended up being a couple of expensive floral items- we could live without. We dropped one item off the pre-reception $10pp and our adjusted guest count! We have over estimated by a couple and now have our count- it makes a big difference when you think about everything that has a pp charge:cutie: .

Good Luck!:cutie:

Thanks Sandy :goodvibes. Thats a good point that you made - I didn't even think about that. Our beo is based on 50 people, but I know it is going to be more like 40 people. So 10 less guests makes a big difference. The beo just might cut itself without me even having to do anything.

I am affraid if I do try some on I will want them all and will have to change my dress for each event so that I could get some use out of them :lmao:

I hope your guest count does come down. Would that be perfect? :cloud9: You can cut costs and keep everything you want. :thumbsup2

:goodvibes Aww thanks Catherine!

Yeah the BEO is off the hook - I just posted it. I was sitting down but I still wanted to pass out.:faint::lmao:

I'm glad your's is reasonable and is around what you were expecting. You'll be able to cut out $3,000 or maybe you won't have to if your numbers are right!

Hey Catherine -
What is a "white pixie dust overlay"? Sounds pretty!
