Would like to know if anyone has ever stayed in either cabin 5142 or 5144? How are these cabins and does it make a big deal that your veranda is a solid wall? We were guarantee and these are the cabins we ended up with. Any information about the fifth floor would also be greatly appreciated.

Also, has anyone ever stayed in a connecting room when they were not with another party? Are these rooms noisy? I am afraid we will be able to hear all the noise from the people next to us. Any info on this would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Never stayed in those rooms, but if you booked GTY and ended up with a verandah - be happy! And Deck 5 would be convenient to just about everything - especially if you have kids as the kids clubs are on that deck.

Hi Mara,

We were in 5142 in 2001, lovely room and very convenient to everything. The closed verandah is fine, easy to see over the railing and beautiful for star gazing. The hallways are very quite and recall being close to the kids club. I think you will really like this cabin.

We stayed in connecting room and didn't know the people next to us.

We never even heard them! It was amazingly quiet! In fact, the only time we heard any of our neighbors was when we were on our Verandah.

One day, I was afraid they heard my 2 year old DD having a tantrum, and apoligized for it in the hall. They said they didn't hear a thing.

Deck 5 is a great deck. We were on 6, but both were great. Easy access to everything.

Good luck!

Thanks for all the info. I have been one the Magic twice before but have never gone gty status. Not my favorite way of doing it. My cabin is actually on deck 8 I was asking about 5142 & 5144 for friends of ours who are coming from over seas. I do not want them to be disapointed by these rooms.
