Has anyone had experience with category 9 staterooms on deck 2 and category 8 staterooms on deck 7? Is there a big difference between the two? The cabins I'm looking at on deck 2 are 2102 & 2104 and on deck 7 cabins 7004 & 7006. Are these good staterooms? Thanks! ;)

I've stayed on both decks...and I find good about both. On deck 2, we discovered the library. That was a fun find. ON deck 7, you have the neat aft balcony for some semi-private sun. Another nice find. I really don't remember my stateroom numbers, but I'm convinced that there are very few "bad" staterooms. Much more has to do with your neighbors. Bad neighbors can ruin any stateroom situation, but Dis has very little control over the screaming at night in the next cabin. We did have one very rough neighbor situation. Guest services moved us when DD mentioned it to one of her "friends." She thinks the cast members are her personal buddies!

We have enjoyed staying on both decks. We did notice on deck 7 we felt alot more movement than on deck 2. They both are the same size as far as square footage, w/bath & half and big windows. Good luck on your decison, hope you enjoy!
