I just found out last week that my oldest of 3 cats, Kitty, has hyperthyroidism. I found out after my middle cat, Little Bit, started attacking her all of a sudden. I took them both to the vet because I had no clue why the attacker suddenly turned very aggressive. I've had to keep them seperated for the past 2 weeks (very stressful), started using Feliway, and started the oldest on Felimazole for the hyperthyroidism. I'm hoping this is why Little Bit is attacking her. I can't keep them seperated forever.
I also have a 6 month old kitten who is getting spayed Wednesday. I'm so nervous!

So...does anyone have experience with feline hyperthyroidism? What was the treatment? How long did it take to work? Anything else I should know about it?
Sincerely,
Cat Lady
