How are Crowd Levels During Days with After Hours at MK?

We are planning our trip for May 25 to May 31 to WDW. We would like to go to MK on May 25, but they have After Hours that evening from 10pm to 1am. We will not be attending that. Since DH and I have APs (Incredipass), we have to have a park reservation.

We would like to know how this may affect crowd levels for that day. It shows MK at a level 2 out of 10 for that day on a crowd calendar, but would like to know if any of you have gone to MK on a day when they have After Hours and if the crowds were lower than normal or higher.

TIA

IME it doesn’t really affect daytime crowds. Not like the holiday parties do, anyway, because the park doesn’t close early to day guests on an After Hours day. You might notice a slight influx around 7PM or whatever time After Hours guests are allowed to enter (if they don’t also have a day ticket). But even then, the numbers of After Hours are relatively small. Unofficial estimates are 3000-3500 guests, compared to 30K for the holiday parties.

That makes sense. I figured they After Hours guests would start coming in early. Thank you!

After Hour ticketed events don't impact day crowds but ticket holders for the After hours Event are allowed in at 7 PM even though the ticketed hours are 10 PM - 1 AM. That is why MK is a Crowd level of 2 and all parks should have manageable crowds during your entire visit.

Monday, May 25 is Memorial Day at the end of the holiday day weekend, and crowds have already left for the brief pause before the next Vacation crowds arrive in June.

I never thought of it that way, but I guess a lot of schools aren't out for summer vacation yet, probably mostly northern schools are still in session.

Thanks!
