We're thinking of taking our pet cat with us for a 2-month trip, of which 2-weeks will be at FW. She's strictly an indoor cat and would always be inside our 34' class A.

Would we have to be in the pet loop for this? Would we have to pay Disney that outrageous $5/day pet fee for a cat that would never put paws on their property?

Any answers or just plain thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm not someone who likes to break rules, but I wouldn't feel one bit guilty about going to a loop that wasn't a pet loop. I mean, we take our guinea pig with us when we travel, but we don't have to have a pet loop for him. What's inside your RV won't bother anyone around you.

I guess you could call FW and ask them, but I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I happen to agree. WE have two cats, a collie and two gerbils :) Although I don't bring my cats or gerbils, I can't see why you would have to pay for either as long as they aren't outside, but I'm not the boss ;) I can see why the charge for the dogs since they make messes around the place.

I have seen this many times at FW. A cat does not bother anyone with barking, most of the time people wouldn't even know it was there unless they saw it. We have cats and I wouldn't request a pet loop if I was bringing them along. They don't go outside or bother anyone.

I HAVE TWO CATS, ALSO. AND I HAVEN'T TOLD THEM OR ANY OTHER CAMPGROUND THAT I'VE BEEN TO ABOUT THEM. THEY ARE SOLELY IN THE CAMPER AND THEY AREN'T A PROBLEM TO ANYONE.
PS. GLAD TO HEAR SOMEONE ELSE TRAVELS WITH THEIR FURRY FRIENDS.:pinkbounc

Hi,

I'll have to agree with Kermit. Cats are little different than dogs as they have indoor litter boxes and their for won't be outside their rv's etc. I wouldn't worry about mentioning it either. Any pet that is kept in a cage indoors and never goes out shouldn't be a problem. On the other hand if someone were bringing a snake...as a neighbor I would want to know about! Just incase their was an escape...yikes!

Hope this helps...Mmketeer
