Get a top loading cat carrier like this one, (where the grey cover comes completely off) and you can place her inside. They have them cheap at Walmart.

My vet highly recommends it.My cat LOATHES being put into a carrier. There was no way of pushing her into a front loading one. There were sounds that came out of her that no earthly creature could possibly make.

She turned into Cujo, the cat.
Now, I can grab her from behind, put her in, then place the cover over her. MUCH simpler!
I'm also kind of "crate training" her with it. I leave it out for her, with the cover off. She actually likes to lay in it. So when it comes time to really put her in, she's not afraid of it. It reminds her of something from home that's safe & familiar.
That is a GREAT idea!

Kitty is an INSIDE kitty, so she ONLY goes outside if it is to the spa ... which is like 4x a year (I think). Soooo, the minute DS opens the door and they head outside ... its not pretty. Irena, the lady at the spa said Kitty was in a "bad mood" all day.

GREAT idea on the cat carrier at Wally's World, as well.
