cat names

My cat is Pepsi.. a name only an 11 yo could have picked! It fits him, though.

A friend has a cat named Mrs. Nesbitt... probably THE best cat name I've ever heard.

DMickey28- I made that move, temporarily! I'm heading back before Christmas, though. Bringing a dog named Boston sounds like a great idea!

we have 3 cats....

a male named Oreo that we call Boo-boo
a female named Socks that we call Pookie
and a female named Rosie that we call Rosalinie???

Our dog is Tiffany and we call her Tiffles...
so...why do we give them names if I change them anyway??

Cordelia and Doyle for my kitties(named after the characters on Angel)

All of ours are named after humans, except one named after food.

Wedge - Star Wars character
Tycho - Star Wars character
Lady Jane Grey - the nine-day queen of England
Bribs - guy on the Mole 2
Oscar - Oscar Mayer Weiner - he likes hot dogs

Human names! I even give middle or last names....

Ivan Ivanovich 19 1/2

April Mae 2 and her brother Jack Max (originally named Amy June before his 1st vet visit:p )

I agree..Mrs Nesbitt is a GREAT name!

My cat (because she's a purebred) has the long technical name of Marmalade Blaze of Big Tree Cattery but most of the time she's called Marm or my sister calls her Fred for some reason...

We do both, the two we have now are Kitty (who I actually named Asriel after the cat in the smurfs, but kept saying here kitty and it kind of stuck) and George. The two that are no longer with us were Sox and Sabrina. So two cat names and two human names.

Probably won't make a lot of sense to you guys over the pond, but our 14 year old brother and sister moggies are called Charlie and George (DH is Arsenal Football club fan - Charlie George was one of their more famous players a few years back:rolleyes: ). Charlie - male - is tabby and white, is also known as Fat Cat . . because he is, and George - female - is Lady George or Fish Face because she's a grumpy old bag (but forgiven because she has bad arthritis:( ).

Then we were adopted by "Felix" - because he's black and white like the Felix advert cat (wish I'd named him something more original now;) ), but he also answers to Squiddly Diddley.

Then there's the succession of Piggy Pogs (guinea pigs) my DD has had - Daisy and Splodge, then Toffee and Chocolate (offspring of Daisy . . . they were all brown) and now just left with Tilly (short for Miss Matilda of Milford :o ). We also have Mr Pickles, our adopted rabbit.

We hope to get a dog soon and SHE will be called Eric:p

Mine are Bethany (or, LuLu Belle), Timothy (or, Tiki-boy), and Tabitha (or, Blue). All people names. I just liked the way they all flowed together. Although it's a mouthful when I take all three of them to the vet!

When I was growing up we had Sheena and Snowflake.

I don't have a cat now but I've had Tigger and Morris both orange and Ally a black cat.

Let's see...

Cat (simple, descriptive and actually the name she came to us with)

Fidget (named for a character in "Time Bandits")

and now...

Potter (well, she is hairy, so...) :p

The two boys I have now are named Ralphie (from Christmas Story) and Pumpkin (because he's orange). We had Mittens, Sugar, Taffy, Muffin, Bootie, Sweetie Pie and Cry Baby.

Only ever had one cat & we called him Smokey as he was grey

Our cats are named Meriweather and Sassy.
